MANILA, Philippines – A massive fire broke out in Isla Puting Bato, Tondo, Manila, on November 24, 2024, displacing over 2,000 families and destroying approximately 1,000 homes.
The fire, which started early in the morning, spread quickly through the densely populated community, leaving residents in urgent need of assistance.
Article continues after this advertisementIn response, Isko Moreno Domagoso and Chi Atienza provided immediate relief. They distributed ₱5,000 in financial assistance to each of the 2,014 affected families to help them cope with the aftermath of the fire.

Fortunately, no casualty was reported, but many families were temporarily relocated to the Delpan evacuation center.
