(As BINI and ABS-CBN’s way of helping the victims of super typhoon Kristine, we will be donating P1 million of the proceeds of our “Grand BINIverse” concert to help our affected countrymen.)
Jhoanna hoped the group’s donation would help the victims start over while thanking their dedicated fans (or Blooms) for their support.
“Ang halagang ito ay maging panimula po sana ng mga donasyon sa ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya. Magtulungan po tayo para makatulong sa ating mga kababayan,” she said. “It’s a way of giving back din dahil ‘yung mga Blooms din po talaga yung sumu-support din po sa amin.”
(Hopefully, this amount, along with ABS-CBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya, will help our countrymen start anew. Let’s help each other while helping our countrymen as well. It’s also our way of giving back because our Blooms supported us along the way.)
Gwen also sent a message of hope to her fellow Bicolanos who were affected by the typhoon. “We really pray for everyone’s safety… I hope we find hope to rise again. Makakabangon ang Bicolandia,” she said.
BINI — consisting of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena — will hold their “Grand BINIverse” concert from November 16 to 18 at the Araneta Coliseum.
