MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) expects to transfer detained televangelist Apollo Quiboloy to the Pasig City Jail, according to its spokesperson.
Last Friday, the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 159 granted Quiboloy another medical furlough, which is set to expire on November 27.

Gen. Jean Fajardo said in a press conference on Wednesday.
She previously said Quiboloy would be brought back to the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City from the Philippine Heart Center (PHC).
Article continues after this advertisementFajardo, however, said Quiboloy would be directly moved to the Pasig City Jail on Wednesday afternoon instead.
Article continues after this advertisement“His detention in Crame was only temporary, to begin with. And since his medical assessment here is done and we’ve submitted our compliance to the court, there is no more reason for him to stay here in Crame,” she explained.
Article continues after this advertisement“It’s been clear that he and the rest of the accused should be there, they should be jailed with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, pending trial of their cases,” she added.
